Job summary

Fountaingrove Lodge in California seeks a dedicated Medication Technician to assist with medication administration for residents, following nursing standards and company policies. You will support personal care and participate in activities while collaborating with housekeepers and maintenance.

The role requires at least 1 year of RCFE medication assistance (state rules may require training). Candidates should be 18+, have a HS diploma, and may benefit from LVN consideration; MS Office skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN considered a plus.
• 1 year of medication assistance in RCFE preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong communication with staff, physicians, residents, and families.
• Criminal background check and health screening including TB tests.
• State training/certification may be required per regulation.
• COVID-19 and other PPE protocols may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physician.
• Track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain confidential resident medication and care records.
• Ensure a safe environment following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.
