Job summary

Ivyliving is seeking a Medication Technician in California to supervise and assist in administering medications to residents according to nursing standards. The role includes direct personal care, encouraging resident participation in activities, and collaborating with housekeeping and maintenance to support the community’s mission.

The position requires one year of related experience when possible, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to pass health and background screenings.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year experience assisting with medication at a RCFE or similar setting.
• Completion of required state training/certification may be required.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass background and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents as ordered.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physician.
• Maintain accurate confidential medication and care records.
• Support a safe environment and teamwork with staff and departments.
