Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to administer medications and treatments for residents at our New York facility. You will document in MAR/TAR in real time, observe residents during medication passes, monitor symptoms, and ensure safe, accurate medication administration.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong documentation and communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
