Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity at our South Carolina community.

You will administer medications per physician orders, follow the Six Rights, document in MAR/TAR in real time, monitor residents, and maintain clean carts and rooms. Training and growth opportunities are available, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+.
• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
