Job summary

Integral Senior Living in California is seeking a Care/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care and medical assistance to residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care communities.

The role includes monitoring residents, administering medications per plan, documenting changes, and assisting with daily activities while maintaining a safe, home-like environment. Training and advancement opportunities are offered within a culture that values teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift; know their locations and check on them throughout the shift.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and conditions of residents for changes in condition.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Notify supervisor and/or Health Care Coordinator if a resident has increased care needs.
• Assist with continence management and dispose of continence products to ensure sanitation.
• Serve and collect food trays and assist as needed; report refusals or loss of appetite.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas; practice good standard care precautions.
• Help residents maintain independence and safety; assist with activities of daily living.
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities; greet and assist all in-house and external contacts.
• Perform resident laundry as assigned.
