Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living’s Johns Creek community is hiring Medication Technicians / Certified Medication Aides (Med Techs / CMAs) to safely administer medications and support resident care. If you value accuracy and resident safety, join our dedicated team.

You will administer medications per physician orders, follow the Six Rights, monitor residents, and report changes to nursing leadership. CPR/First Aid and CMA certification preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Active CMA or Medication Technician certification (state requirements apply).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Reliable, focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policy.
• Follow the "Six Rights" of medication administration and proper documentation standards.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Report changes in condition or concerns to nursing leadership
