Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician/Certified Medication Aide (Med Tech/CMA) to safely administer medications and support resident care in our senior living community.

Qualifications

• Active CMA or Medication Technician certification (state requirements apply).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policy.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and proper documentation standards.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Report changes in condition or concerns to nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance counts.
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed; adhere to infection control and safety requirements.
