Qualifications

• Attention to detail and time management are essential.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Certification as CMA/Med Tech is required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders, state regulations, and community policy.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and proper documentation standards.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Report changes in condition or concerns to nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance counts.
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
