Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living is seeking a qualified maintenance professional to ensure the upkeep of our community, including building exteriors, interiors, and grounds. You will turn apartments to rent-ready condition and respond to emergency maintenance needs in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and related fields, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• 2+ years hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, drywall, etc.

Responsibilities

• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality as scheduled.
• Turn apartments to rent-ready condition in a professional and timely fashion.
• Maintain exterior and interior of the community by performing or supervising maintenance tasks.
• Inspect Community daily to address maintenance concerns.
• Perform emergency maintenance services on on-call basis.
• Adhere to maintenance department budgets and safety procedures.
