Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Cedar Square in Ottawa, Kansas. This part-time role (20 hours/week) responsibilities include routine maintenance, simple repairs, and ensuring safe, clean common areas.

On-call duties 24/7 are required to respond to emergencies, with a $20/hour wage and a $60 monthly mobile phone allowance. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of residential maintenance experience, and skills in HVAC,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 1-2 years of residential or apartment maintenance experience required.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain interior and exterior common areas ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Complete minor carpentry, painting and appliance repairs.
• Supervise and mentor junior maintenance staff when applicable.
• Manage inventory and submit maintenance records and reports.
• Comply with safety regulations and building codes.
