Job summary

True Connection Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Hilliard, OH to support the community's operations, performing routine maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment, and coordinating tasks to complete repairs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of maintenance experience, and strong skills in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and painting. You will communicate with staff, residents, and vendors and use computers as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years maintenance experience.
• Experience in maintenance with property management, lodging, or Senior Living/Assisted Living/Memory Care a plus.
• Excellent mechanical skills (HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting).
• Communicates effectively with Maintenance Director, staff, residents, prospects, and vendors.
• Exhibits excellent customer service to residents, families and prospects and promotes the community positively.
• Basic familiarity with computers.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance work on community equipment, building and grounds (equipment repairs, apartment painting etc.).
• Understands HVAC and other mechanical systems and properly maintains them.
• Conducts daily inspection of the building, grounds and equipment and performs necessary maintenance and repairs.
• Performs proactive preventative maintenance as scheduled and records data in preventative maintenance logs.
• Helps to assure that other team members follow established safety practices (OSHA).
• Follows established work order system.
• Participates in in-service training as required by state regulations.
• Responsible for maintaining the general appearance of the building including assisting with event set up and cleaning up.
• Performs other duties as required.
