Job summary

The Ironwood at Oro Valley is seeking a Maintenance Support member to assist the Maintenance Director in daily community operations. Responsibilities include preparing apartments for new residents, performing general repairs, and maintaining outdoor grounds and common areas.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, basic maintenance skills, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The role requires reliable, team-oriented collaboration and commitment to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or related maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform general maintenance repairs and problem solve.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and handle physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance daily, including light bulb replacement and electrical/plumbing/HVAC repairs.
• Prepares resident apartments for new occupants with painting, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Maintains grounds by mowing, sweeping, and trimming trees and shrubs.
• Assists in coordinating community events.
• Assists in all maintenance phases of resident apartments and common areas.
• Supports Maintenance Director to ensure emergency systems function properly.
• Assists in transporting and storing resident property.
• Demonstrates ability to read, write, and speak English; makes independent decisions when needed.
