Stellar Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance position to support the Maintenance Director in daily community operations. Responsibilities include light repairs, painting, cleaning, and general upkeep of guest apartments and common areas.

You will help maintain grounds, assist in coordinating events, and ensure safety and compliance with HIPAA and company policies. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or related maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform general maintenance, problem solve, and communicate effectively with others.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and manage physical demands.

Responsabilités

• Performs daily general maintenance, including replacing light bulbs and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
• Prepares resident apartments for new occupants by painting and cleaning carpets or assisting as part of a team.
• Maintains grounds by mowing, sweeping, and trimming trees and shrubs to keep the area presentable.
• Assists in coordination of community events.
• Supports maintenance in resident apartments and common areas.
• Assists Maintenance Director with proper function of emergency systems.
• Transports and stores resident property.
• Reads and writes English sufficiently to fulfill job requirements.
• Makes independent decisions and solves practical problems as they arise.
• Follows safety, HIPAA, and workplace policies.
