Qualifications

• Senior living maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Painting skills and experience.
• Light repairs and general maintenance experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to perform physical duties (lifting, bending, standing).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Caring, team-player attitude with customer service focus.
• Knowledge of healthcare maintenance standards and procedures preferred.
• Basic computer skills; maintenance software desirable.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for assigned shifts.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in setting standards.
• Develop procedures for daily maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services during tasks.
• Complete administrative forms and reports for supervisor.
• Submit accidents/incidents reports to Supervisor.
• Collaborate to complete tasks within timelines.
• Adhere to safety protocols for staff and residents.
• Assist in training new maintenance staff.
• Maintain open communication with residents and staff.
• Support cleanliness and appearance of the community.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
