Hawthorn Senior Living in Rio Rancho, NM seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician for the Rio Grande Gracious Retirement Living community. You will maintain exteriors and interiors, turn apartments to rent-ready condition, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure safety and comfort for residents.

The role requires trades experience, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, climb ladders, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ verifiable hands-on maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, drywall repairs, etc.
• Ability to perform and coordinate emergency building repairs; contact subcontractors as needed.
• Must be able to train teams in emergency systems.
• Experience with tools used in construction, maintenance and landscaping.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsabilités

• Regular, on-site attendance and punctuality as scheduled.
• Turn apartments to rent-ready condition in a professional and timely fashion.
• Maintain exterior and interior community areas, including building, grounds, walkways, and parking.
• Inspect and address maintenance concerns daily; monitor Maintenance Log.
• Perform emergency maintenance services on-call; assist in budget adherence.
• Assist housekeeping with deep cleaning and assist in safety and hazard communications.
• Attend education and training classes as directed by management.
