Regency Newcastle is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to repair and maintain our retirement and assisted living community. You will service equipment, safety systems, and common areas while following regulatory guidelines and testing procedures.

This full-time role requires on-site work with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong teamwork with residents and staff. English proficiency and a compassionate approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience preferred.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain community, equipment, and safety systems.
• Follow and document preventative maintenance programs.
• Refurbish resident rooms between tenants.
• Work a flexible schedule, including on-call, for resident safety.
• Avoid loss, breakage, and waste of supplies.
