Job summary

Mirror Lake Village Senior Living Community is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support building, systems, and grounds maintenance under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and preventative maintenance tasks, as well as assisting with resident-related tasks and safety inspections.

The position is part-time and non-exempt, with a base pay of $23.76 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two years of verifiable direct maintenance experience.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC is preferred.
• Ability to use common maintenance tools safely and effectively.
• Strong English communication in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident, employee, and community information with confidentiality.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscape, carpentry, painting, flooring, and general asset repairs.
• Inspect community daily and address maintenance concerns.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks per schedule.
• Assist with resident-related tasks and deep cleaning of common areas.
• Ensure tools and equipment are stored safely and report damages.
