Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Alabama to perform repairs, implement preventive maintenance, and communicate with the Maintenance Director about building conditions and equipment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to perform mechanical tasks and basic repair work.
• Experience or comfort with light electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks.
• Familiarity with safety procedures when handling chemicals or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Handles proper biohazardous waste practices.
• Keeps laundry area clean and chemicals stored per instructions.
• Follows chemical handling standards and uses equipment properly.
• Demonstrates strong mechanical skills in day-to-day tasks.
