Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Campbell is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support residents by performing general maintenance and repairs across the community. You will handle plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks, while ensuring safety standards are followed.

The role requires basic upkeep, responsiveness to work orders, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed. This is a full-time, on-site position at the Campbell campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 18+.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance projects: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting.
• Repair and maintain walls, doors, floors and common-area furniture.
• Complete work orders promptly; document safety issues and deficiencies.
• Assist with safety procedures and hazard communications.
• Respond to accidents and emergencies per protocol.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and vehicle cleaning.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or GM.
