Job summary

Winchester Gardens is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Maplewood, NJ. The role is full-time and entails general maintenance for the facility and its residents.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, using the work order system, assisting in renovations, maintaining records, coordinating with vendors, and supporting residents and staff. EMT and emergency readiness, PPE use, and cost-efficient work are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• HVAC Certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning equipment throughout the facility and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Operate and utilize the electronic work order system to track requests and status.
• Assist in renovations and remodeling and report stock needs for job performance.
• Maintain accurate time and scope records using work order forms.
• Interact with vendors and contractors to coordinate repairs and services.
• Provide professional assistance to residents, coworkers, and visitors and represent the facility.
• Report to work during emergencies as needed.
• Complete tasks timely, efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Close out work orders daily and document completed work.
