Americare Senior Living’s Westbrook Terrace Memory Care II in Jefferson City, MO is hiring a Maintenance Team Member for full-time days.

You’ll perform routine maintenance across Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living cottages, keep buildings and grounds safe, and support resident comfort with reliable, hands-on service that residents can depend on daily, including safety drills and preventative upkeep that helps our community run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Perform routine and minor maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical, wiring, and general repairs.
• Maintain furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, and water systems to ensure resident comfort.
• Replace air-conditioner filters and complete monthly maintenance checklists.
• Assist with disaster preparedness, including fire drills and emergency readiness activities.
• Notify management of major repair needs involving lighting, HVAC, plumbing, or building systems.
• Remove snow, ice, debris, and hazards from sidewalks and grounds.
• Oversee landscaping services and assist with lawn care, trimming shrubs, and flower maintenance as needed.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and appropriately.
