Springfield Skilled Care Center in Missouri is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the center's physical plant and grounds. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, with on-site work in a senior living environment. You will perform repairs, assist with snow removal, and ensure proper order of the facility.

Qualifications include knowledge of basic building maintenance, minor electrical repair, and a valid Driver’s License. On-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of building maintenance to include minor electrical repair.
• Plumbing and routine preventative care of heating and air conditioning systems.
• Requires the ability to receive verbal and written direction.
• Requires the ability to be available for on-call emergency repairs.
• Must have valid Driver’s License.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the care of the center's physical plant and grounds
• Perform repairs as directed
• Collect and dispose of refuse
• Clean, strip, wax, and buff floors
• Assure prompt snow and ice removal
• Help to assure the maintenance of the physical plant is in proper order
