Job summary

Americare Senior Living's Hartmann Village Assisted Living in Boonville, MO is seeking a Maintenance Team Member for full-time, on-site work. You will help keep the community safe, functional, and well maintained, performing routine upkeep and repairs and building relationships with residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance, equipment operation, and safety practices
• Ability to work independently and follow maintenance schedules and instructions

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
• Perform routine and minor maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical, wiring, and general repairs
• Maintain furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, and water systems to ensure resident comfort
• Replace air‑conditioner filters and complete monthly maintenance checklists
• Assist with disaster preparedness, including fire drills and emergency readiness activities
• Notify management of major repair needs involving lighting, HVAC, plumbing, or building systems
• Remove snow, ice, debris, and hazards from sidewalks and grounds
• Oversee landscaping services and assist with lawn care, trimming shrubs, and flower maintenance as needed
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and appropriately
