The role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry tasks, requiring reliability, safety awareness, and a willingness to work evenings or weekends as needed. A strong focus on resident comfort and safety guides daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18.
• 1–3 years related experience or training or equivalent.
• Knowledge of building maintenance: electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, floor care, heating/HVAC.
• Prefer knowledge of fire suppression and irrigation systems.
• Prefer motor vehicle maintenance ability.
• Flexible; able to work evenings and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance projects including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and equipment repair.
• Maintain walls, floors, doors, windows, furniture, and woodwork in common areas.
• Repair vacated rooms promptly; repaint walls and clean carpets as needed.
• Handle in-house plumbing tasks (sinks, toilets, bathtubs).
• Perform minor electrical work in units and common areas (switches, outlets, disposals).
• Complete work orders promptly and document safety or facility issues.
