Job summary

Pineapple House in Naples, FL is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Assistant to support our assisted living community. You will perform routine upkeep, address repairs, and help keep residents safe and comfortable.

The role requires hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, strong organization, and clear communication. You will respond to requests, assist with events, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the community, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general upkeep
• Conduct inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues proactively
• Assist with setup and breakdown of community events and activities
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders
• Ensure all safety protocols and standards are followed to maintain a secure environment
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents
• Assist with groundskeeping and landscaping tasks as needed
