Job summary

Indigo Hall in Marlborough, SC is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations, ensure safety and comfort for residents, and maintain regulatory compliance across building systems.

You will lead the maintenance team, implement preventive maintenance, manage the budget, coordinate repairs, ensure safety standards, and report on ongoing projects using the Upkeep platform.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous maintenance management experience, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanicals).
• Experience managing a team and overseeing maintenance staff.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep of the building and systems to ensure safety and comfort for residents and staff.
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to avoid downtime.
• Staff Supervision: Lead maintenance team with guidance, training, and performance management.
• Budget Management: Assist in managing the maintenance budget and prioritizing repairs.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety codes and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues to minimize disruptions.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance needs.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of maintenance requests and completed work; report on projects as needed.
