Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Manager, Maintenance to organize and execute maintenance across the community and physical plant. You will establish preventive schedules, troubleshoot diverse building systems, and manage work orders in Yardi while ensuring vehicle upkeep and on-call readiness.

Required is a high school diploma with 2+ years in property maintenance; HVAC certification is preferred, and senior living maintenance experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a property maintenance role.
• Senior Living property maintenance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Must be able to wear a NIOSH-approved tight-fitting respirator if required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and follow a preventative maintenance schedule for HVAC, elevator, safety equipment, generator, and more.
• Troubleshoot and identify issues across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and structural systems.
• Use Yardi work order system to manage maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure community vehicles are maintained and driver credentials are current.
• Adhere to on-call requirements for emergency repairs.
