Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Creve Coeur, MO is seeking a Manager, Maintenance to organize and execute the general operating maintenance of the community and physical plant. You will establish preventive schedules, troubleshoot building systems, and manage repairs with the Yardi work order system.

The role requires a High School diploma, HVAC certification preferred, 2+ years in property maintenance, and ability to wear an NIOSH-approved respirator when required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years in a Property maintenance position.
• Senior Living property maintenance preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.
• Must be medically able and willing to wear a NIOSH-approved tight-fitting respirator (N95 mask).

Responsibilities

• Establish and follow a preventive maintenance schedule on all systems including HVAC, elevator, fire life safety equipment, generator and other assets.
• Troubleshoot and identify issues with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, structural problems, and painting.
• Utilize Yardi work order system to manage maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure community vehicles are maintained and drivers have required credentials.
• Adhere to on-call requirements for emergencies and maintenance issues.
