Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Pasadena is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead maintenance and housekeeping operations for a senior living community. You will supervise staff, coordinate repairs, and ensure safe, clean, and comfortable environments for residents and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; maintenance background preferred.
• Minimum one year of related maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and understand safety instructions and English directions.

Responsibilities

• Repair toilets, unclog drains, and fix plumbing issues in resident areas.
• Maintain HVAC units, filters, and other essential facilities equipment.
• Repair windows, doors, locks, and fixtures across the building.
• Supervise maintenance and housekeeping staff and assign daily tasks.
• Respond to emergency calls and conduct routine safety inspections.
• Ensure sanitation practices and infection control in housekeeping procedures.
