Job summary

Oxford Senior Living in Wichita, KS is seeking a full-time Maintenance Coordinator to support the Maintenance Director in the care and upkeep of the community, resident apartments, and common areas. You will perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance tasks, while ensuring safety and quality, with daily rounds and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Director with building maintenance and mechanical work including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, interior and exterior painting, masonry, drywall repair, small appliance repair, minor equipment repair, and troubleshooting; floor care like shampooing, buffing, stripping and waxing.
• Regularly walk the community to identify areas needing repair or maintenance and follow up.
• Assist Maintenance Director with maintaining logs for hot water temperature, emergency generators, MSDS sheets, fire extinguishers, fire drills, and emergency call systems.
• Present a professional demeanor and handle resident concerns and complaints with courtesy and in a professional manner.
