Job summary

McKay Creek Assisted Living in Pendleton, Oregon, seeks a knowledgeable Maintenance Manager to direct and perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and related tasks for the 44-unit community. The role requires on-call nights and weekends; salary 57–62k per year with full-time benefits through PACS. You will plan, organize, and direct the maintenance department to ensure safety, reliability, and a comfortable environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct the Maintenance Department, its programs, and activities.
• Schedule maintenance with other departments and ensure timely execution.
• Oversee safety, fire protection, and OSHA/compliance programs.
• Inspect facilities and coordinate with outside vendors as needed.
• Prepare maintenance budgets and monitor expenditures.
• Maintain records and reports for regulatory compliance.
