Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Arnold, MO is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator / Driver to ensure a safe, clean, and well‑maintained living environment for residents. You will perform timely upkeep of interior, exterior, and grounds and report to the Maintenance Director.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of related experience, a Class E license, and basic carpentry/maintenance skills. CPR/BLS is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Completion of an accredited maintenance training program may substitute for work experience.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Class E driver’s license required.
• Proficient in carpentry, painting, light plumbing, and preventative maintenance.
• Familiarity with building management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas inside the building to high cleanliness standards and perform routine and deep cleaning.
• Support grounds maintenance and exterior repairs in collaboration with landscaping contractors.
• Assist with implementing and documenting a preventative maintenance program.
• Prepare apartments for move-ins, including patching, painting, and floor/upgrades.
• Maintain fire safety records and SDS; respond to emergencies and environmental issues.
• Schedule and document preventative maintenance and quality assurance for systems.
• Use building management software to track tasks and turnovers.
• Collaborate with staff and communicate with residents’ families as needed.
