The Arlington is recruiting for a hospitality focused Cook to join our team in a full-time role. This position handles full-scope, hands-on production cooking within the Community Culinary Services Department.

Starting at $23/hr, commensurate with culinary experience. The role emphasizes cleanliness, presentation, dietary compliance and resident interaction while supporting dining services and occupancy goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organizational efficiency.
• Adhere to food quality, presentation and dietary criteria as required by local regulations.
• Follow recipes accurately and maintain speed, accuracy and efficiency in cooking.
• Assist with serving of meals and ware washing as necessary.
• Visit residents to evaluate meals and adjust operations to improve service.
• Represent the community in a warm, inviting manner to support occupancy.
