Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents, guests, and staff according to planned menus and recipes. You will ensure proper portioning, garnishing, and timely service while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three years’ line cook experience, along with good communication skills. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

• Minimum of three years of line cook experience and/or training.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Ensure freshness, proper seasoning, and quality of all foods served.
• Stock and clean station for next shift and follow safety practices.
