Cogir Senior Living in Chandler, AZ is seeking a friendly, skilled Cook to join our community kitchen. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents, families, and staff, from scratch, following menus and safety guidelines, with a focus on variety and seasonal ingredients.

You will work with our culinary team under the direction of the culinary director, maintaining clean stations, proper food handling, and timely service across shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary School is a plus, or the equivalent of education and experience.
• Food Handler Card with an understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes.
• Serv Safe Certification

Responsibilities

• Be part of a compassionate, high-performing team delivering top-level results.
• Prepare and cook meals following established menus, dietary, and sanitary guidelines.
• Set up and break down work areas in a timely fashion.
• Keep stations clean and sanitized.
• Collaborate with dining services to ensure timely meal service.
• Check and restock foods for proper service.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
• Participate in required training sessions including food handling and safety certifications.
