The Barrington of Carmel is seeking a Life Enrichment Associate to help residents stay connected, engaged, and healthy through group and one-on-one activities. You will work with the Life Enrichment Manager to plan programs, lead seated exercises, crafts, meals, and events, and coordinate transportation for outings.

This role requires a high school diploma, strong communication, and flexibility to work weekends and some evenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong communication, clear and professional.
• Comfortable working independently and in teams.
• Organized and dependable, able to handle evenings/weekends.

Responsabilités

• Partner with the Life Enrichment Manager to plan, coordinate, and facilitate activities.
• Lead group and one-on-one interactions to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, staff, and partners.
• Create and support a monthly activity calendar including evenings and weekends.
• Lead programs like seated stretching, crafts, meals, parties, and events.
• Coordinate resident transportation for outings and events.
• Maintain supplies and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
• Support residents with varying needs with patience and compassion.
