The Barrington of Carmel is a premier senior living community seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our campus facilities safe and well-maintained. You will perform routine and corrective maintenance, handle work orders, and support on-site operations to ensure resident comfort and safety.

This role offers weekday hours with optional weekend rotation, competitive pay, health benefits, PTO from day one, and a 401(k) with matching contributions.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience using basic hand and electrical tools.
• Willing to participate in on-call, weekend, or irregular-hour rotations.
• Ability to learn new skills and read technical manuals.
• Preferred: plumbing, electrical, and HVAC experience or certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on community buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Complete assigned work orders, document repairs, and close them upon completion.
• Troubleshoot and assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and related systems.
• Perform apartment turnovers and renovations (patching, painting, cleaning, prepping units).
• Replace HVAC filters, bulbs, and perform general upkeep on systems and furnishings.
• Install appliances and equipment, hang pictures, and assemble/disassemble furniture as needed.
• Assist contractors with on-site work under leadership direction.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized workspaces, tools, and storage areas.
• Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment as required.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, with rotating weekends; First Shift 9a–5p, Second Shift 3p–11p.
