Ebenezer's Amira Choice of Roseville on Cleveland is a senior living community in Roseville, MN, offering Independent/Assisted Living, Memory Care and Care Suites. We seek a Life Enrichment Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating programming that enhances residents' physical, psychosocial, spiritual and cognitive well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assists with life enrichment programs and activities.
• Leads social events and activity programs.
• Conducts exercise class for residents.
• Communicates and coordinates life enrichment programs with all departments.
• Assists other departments with special events and family functions.
• Documents as required.
• Offers suggestions and ideas to the Life Enrichment Director to improve the programming.
• Assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of residents.
• Assists with the planning and execution of outings outside the building, including boarding/deboarding residents from vehicles safely.
• Encourages resident participation.
• Reports change in resident attitude, mood, or physical status to staff.
• Promotes resident independence by offering choices and fostering self-help skills.
• Assists residents in developing relationships and socializing effectively
