Blue Skies of Texas Senior Living Community is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services team member to perform routine laundry tasks in a supportive living environment. You will handle sorting, washing, drying, and distributing linens while maintaining a clean, organized laundry space.

The role requires at least six months’ related experience in a retirement or healthcare setting; a high school diploma is preferred. This on-site position offers benefits and a team-focused work culture.

Qualifications

• In addition to basic knowledge of laundry equipment, familiarity with commercial machines is helpful.
• At least six months’ related work experience in a retirement community, healthcare center, or residential setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs routine laundry tasks: sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and distributing finished products.
• Documents daily laundry loads and identifies items correctly.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
• Replaces chemicals and refills consumables as needed and reports malfunctions promptly.
• Keeps records tidy and turns in found articles to Supervisor as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
