Blue Skies of Texas Senior Living Community in San Antonio is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services team member. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on routine cleaning in resident apartments and common areas, ensuring a clean, safe living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of work experience in housekeeping in a retirement community, health care center, residential apartment complex, or hotel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning and repetitive tasks in resident apartments/homes and common areas, including baseboard cleaning, mopping, sweeping, dusting, window washing, vacuuming, carpet spot cleaning, baths, kitchens, and moving lightweight furniture as needed.
• Signs out and in and observes key control policy to ensure resident security and privacy.
• Obtain Supervisor approval before performing resident-requested deviations from regular service routines.
• Inform Supervisor promptly of changes in resident lifestyle that may require senior staff intervention.
• Report missing or defective fixtures/equipment to Supervisor for proper action.
