Job summary

Atria Senior Living - Longmeadow Place is seeking a dedicated kitchen steward to maintain a clean, orderly dining area and support residents' dining experiences.

You will wash dishes, sanitize all equipment, assist cooks and wait staff, and help with special events, while upholding high food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and dining areas in a clean, orderly condition.
• Provide high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Assist Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
• Keep kitchen clean, safe, and sanitary at all times.
• Assist with the preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and themed meals.
• Attend pre-meal kitchen stand up and support cooks and wait staff.
