Job summary

Nutrition Management Services Company seeks an experienced Kitchen / Food Production Manager to oversee back‑of‑house culinary operations within a busy Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). You will manage day‑to‑day food production, staff, purchasing, inventory, sanitation, and regulatory compliance across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive kitchen, culinary, or food production management experience preferred.
• Experience managing a high‑volume food production operation strongly preferred.
• Senior living, healthcare, or similar institutional food service experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily food production and back‑of‑house kitchen operations.
• Ensure meals are prepared to established menus, recipes, and production schedules.
• Coordinate production to support multiple dining venues and levels of care.
• Monitor production quantities to prevent overproduction and waste.
• Ensure proper food temperatures and adherence to food safety standards.
• Work with leadership to ensure smooth execution of daily meals, events, and resident programs.
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, appearance, and portion control.
• Supervise and schedule back‑of‑house staff; train and develop employees.
