• Supervise cooks, utility aides, and culinary team members with quality, productivity, and procedures.
• Prepare hot and cold items, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
• Plan menus and accommodate special diets and resident needs.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper storage, labeling, and disposal.
• Monitor temperature checks and production records for compliance.
• Foster collaboration between back-of-house and front-of-house teams and residents.
• Assist with inventory, waste reduction, and financial stewardship.
