Sunrise Senior Living in Charlotte, NC is seeking a friendly and skilled Cook to join our dining team. You will prepare meals per standardized recipes, maintain kitchen safety, and support residents’ health and enjoyment in a clean, organized environment.

You’ll follow dietary modifications, record temperatures and production quantities, and help ensure quality, presentation, and compliance with safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
