Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC is seeking a Food Service worker to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents within an organized kitchen. The role emphasizes portion control, sanitation, and reliable teamwork in a setting focused on resident well-being.

The position requires ability to read recipes, work flexible shifts, and communicate effectively in English. Candidates should be able to lift 50 pounds and operate kitchen equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Experience and/or knowledge of meal preparation for large groups.
• Ability to read and understand recipes, work in a team environment, and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to speak and write the English language clearly for residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts in appropriate portions.
• Maintains sanitation standards as required by licenses and regulations; cleans work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Rotates inventories according to dates and ensures freshness; notifies Food Service Director when supplies are needed.
• Stores food and checks supplies upon delivery in absence of the Food Service Director.
• Encourages feedback from residents, guests, and staff to improve food quality and service.
• Supports other departments as part of the team to improve resident satisfaction.
• Provides clear communication to all involved in providing services to residents and guests.
• Other duties as assigned.
