Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Hershey, PA, is seeking a Cook to prepare meals according to approved menus, supervise dietary staff when the Dining Services Director is away, and ensure a clean, safe kitchen.

You will follow recipes, monitor temperatures, train staff, and participate in required in-service meetings. Must have Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days; strong teamwork and flexibility required.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining services operations.
• Serv-Safe certification or willingness to complete within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple calculations.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to approved menus and recipes.
• Supervise dietary staff in absence of Dining Services Director.
• Maintain clean, orderly kitchen and report faulty equipment.
• Monitor temperatures and ensure food safety, portion control and storage.
