Responsibilities include inventory support, positive resident interaction, and adherence to dietary restrictions. The role requires basic high school education and may require ServSafe or Food Handler certification depending on state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food prep experience preferred.
• Follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Communicate with occupants and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification per state law.
• Residency within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
