Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the cook with basic food preparation, portioning, and plating.
• Serve meals and beverages according to residents' assigned diets, textures, and instructions.
• Follow food safety procedures, including handwashing, storage, and temperature controls.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment.
• Keep kitchen and storage areas organized and clean.
• Report equipment problems, unsafe conditions, and supply shortages.
• Communicate resident food concerns or requests to the cook or supervisor.
• Treat residents, families, and coworkers with kindness and respect.
• Complete other kitchen duties as assigned.
