Job summary

Village On The Isle in Venice, FL is seeking an IT Administrator to support and troubleshoot infrastructure and low-voltage systems, including WiFi, TV, telephone services, and server-based programs. You will manage hardware assets, coordinate with the IT MSP for escalations, and ensure service levels meet expectations.

This safety-sensitive role requires strong IT fundamentals and customer-focused support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a computer technician or similar role.
• Proven experience in customer service.
• Extensive experience with WiFi networks.
• Strong knowledge of networks, computer systems, software and IT components.
• Extensive knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
• Relevant IT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network systems and disaster recovery with MSP.
• Set up hardware and install/configure software.
• Maintain hardware and peripheral devices; perform preventative maintenance.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices including patching and access controls.
• Assist with incident response and security audits.
• Troubleshoot system failures and restore functionality.
• Provide user-focused technical support and training.
• Maintain documentation for IT systems.
