Job summary

Village On The Isle in Venice, FL is seeking a Security Guard to patrol the campus and ensure safety for residents and staff. Reporting to the Security and Hospitality Manager, you will observe, report, and document suspicious activities, and assist with daily operations in a health care facility setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, prior law enforcement or military background preferred, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Background in law enforcement or military preferred.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Patrols the campus including inside buildings and perimeter.
• Observes, reports and documents suspicious activities.
• Compiles and submits daily activity reports to Security Manager.
• Notifies Facilities & Engineering of safety hazards.
• Performs door/windows checks to ensure security.
• Attends trainings and meetings as requested.
• Maintains reliable attendance as an essential function.
